TayoPro is a web design and development studio in Edina, Minnesota. One office, no satellite addresses, no account manager standing between you and the people building your site. We have delivered more than 220 projects in 14 years, and plenty of them were for organizations we never met in a conference room — a youth nonprofit in St. Cloud, a poets' collective in Central Minnesota, an Islamic institute in New York. Wherever you are in the state, the work runs the same way and our prices are published before you call.
Minnesota is not one market. In the metro, a home care agency competes with dozens of others inside a ten-mile radius, and ranking comes down to page speed, review volume, and how precisely your site names the services and suburbs you cover. In Brainerd or Bemidji or Worthington there may be three competitors, and it is normal for one of them to be running on a Facebook page alone. The search problem is smaller, but so is the audience, and one confusing page can cost a season's worth of calls. Both situations reward the same thing: a fast site that says plainly who you serve and how to reach you.
Every project runs the same way regardless of city: we listen to your goals, gather requirements, agree on a design strategy and timeline, then build and launch. You get a site that is fast on a phone, accessible, easy for your own team to update, and structured so search engines understand exactly what you do and where you do it.
Most of our projects run remotely, including ones ten minutes from the office. The actual rhythm looks like this: a first call, usually under an hour, about what the site has to do; a written scope with a fixed price and a launch date; a shared folder where you drop content and photos as you find them; a design reviewed in the browser rather than as a flat mockup, so you are looking at the real thing on your own phone; then a short weekly check-in, sometimes canceled because there is nothing to say. You get a staging link early and can watch it change. Nobody drives four hours to sit in a room and look at a screen together.
In Minneapolis, Edina, or Maple Grove you are fighting for a spot in a map pack where every competitor already has a decent site, a Google Business Profile, and reviews. The margin comes from technical detail: fast pages, service pages that match the words people actually type, and business information that is identical everywhere it appears. Outside the metro that map pack is often half-empty and the win is easier, but the search terms are thinner, so one page targeting one town rarely carries a business by itself. Regional organizations need to be findable to someone two counties away, which means writing for the region you actually serve rather than the city on your letterhead.
Five kinds of organization make up most of our 220-plus projects, and they are spread across the state rather than clustered in one suburb. Nonprofits: Ultimate Success Insight in St. Cloud, Lyricality and its Central Minnesota poets, Bridge and Bloom, HARO, A Hand 4 Change. Charter and private schools: Gateway STEM Academy in Saint Paul, Midway Star Academy, Iqra School. Faith and community organizations: Masjid As-Sunnah in Saint Paul, Dar Al Qalam Center in Minneapolis. Home care and behavioral health: CityLight Home Care, Hope Residential Care, NuuroTherapy, Najaah Center, Let's Talk Healing, Niyyah Recovery Initiative. Small local businesses: A-Tran, Amaal Event Center, Zolasina, Jabane Law. If your category is on that list, we have already argued through most of the same decisions.
Sometimes you should, and we would rather say it here than after you have paid a deposit. If you want the person who built your site to also print your signs, shoot your photos, and pick up the phone at seven in the morning about a broken form, hire someone in your town — that proximity is worth real money to some owners. Same if your budget is under about $1,800; below that band we are not the right fit and a capable local freelancer usually is. We are the better call when the site has to do something — enrollment, intake, donations, a portal, an online store — or when nobody nearby has built one for your sector before.
We publish our prices, which is unusual in this trade and saves everybody a discovery call. These are the bands most Minnesota projects land in. The full breakdown, including web applications, apps, and ongoing support, is on the pricing page.

FAQ
Yes, and we have for years. Ultimate Success Insight is a youth nonprofit in St. Cloud, and Lyricality is a collective of Central Minnesota poets. Beyond the state line we have built for Darul Uloom New York and Harmony Supported Living Services in Washington. Across 220-plus projects and more than twenty regions, distance has never been the thing that made a project harder. Unclear content always is.
No. Most projects run entirely over video calls, email, and a shared folder, and the finished site is identical either way. If you would rather sit down, our office is at 4951 W 77th St in Edina and clients passing through the metro sometimes take us up on it. Inside the Twin Cities we are also happy to come to you for kickoff or review.
No, and we would be wary of a studio that priced by zip code. The published bands apply statewide: $1,800 to $3,500 for a starter site, $3,500 to $9,000 for a business site, $9,000 to $25,000 for advanced work, and $75 to $600 a month for a care plan. What changes with geography is what the site has to do, not the hourly rate, which is $95 to $150 everywhere.
Usually, because local ranking is mostly mechanics rather than local knowledge. Consistent business information wherever it appears, a Google Business Profile that matches the site exactly, pages naming the towns and services you actually cover, fast mobile loading, and real reviews. What we do need from you is how your customers describe what you do. That vocabulary is genuinely local, and we cannot guess it from Edina.
